The Arrow or the Target, What comes first?

A story about a woman who didn't fit in and what she did to solve all her problems.

Ruth was a thirty-year-old woman when she finally acknowledged that she wasn't suitable for anything. She didn't fit into any job. She lived in a lot of places and never felt she belonged. She went out with a lot of guys and never thought that she was suitable."

She went out to look for the answer. After walking for a few hours, she saw colorful spots on a wall. When she got closer, she saw that those colored spots were targets. At the heart of each target was an error.

Who could have done such an accurate job? She asked herself. But there was no one to ask, so I kept going. Across the street, she saw a girl much younger than her. Ruth approached the girl and asked: "do you happen to know who fired the arrows at the targets on the wall down the road?". She shyly replied, "I did."

"But how can that be?" I asked, "you are so young!".

"The truth is," the young woman replied, "that I first shot the arrows and then drew the targets."

At that moment, Ruth learned the solution to all her problems. She realized that first, she needed to find what suits her, not where she fits in. She found what suits her, and around that, she built herself a beautiful life."
