How to manage your fears instead of allowing them to manage you!
I have been living in absolute fear because there was a mouse in my house (I know.
And here are my 4 conclusions:
The presence of the mouse didn't bother me and didn't affect my life UNTIL I found out about it.
Conclusion # 1: We only suffer what we are aware of.
This mouse won't be a big deal for many people (my Benjamin grabbed it with a dustpan... yuck), but it was a massive problem for me!
Conclusion #2: We have problems only because we view them as such.
Way after the mouse was gone (and after we made sure none of his family members would be visiting us), I kept fearing it.
I kept "seeing" mice in places, and the non-existing mice kept affecting my day.
Conclusion #3: We fear our imagination and not the reality most of the time.
Lastly, what helped me get over my fear was making peace with mice.
My fear no longer controlled me when I decided that I would be okay if/when I would run into one of these evil creatures.
Conclusion #4: The only way to deal with fear is to go through it. Most people focus on avoiding it. So long as you try to avoid something, it has power over you. The best way to take this power away is to develop an indifference to it.

The most influential people in the world are powerful because they made peace with their fears and not because they successfully avoided it.
Elon Musk said that he got the confidence to take substantial financial risks when he realized that he could survive of $1 per day if needed.
He made peace with being broke, and by doing that, he released himself from that fear. And now he is living proof that the sky is not the limit.
Fear itself is way more harmful than what caused it! In our practice, we teach how to manage fear gradually and safely.
Thank you for being here.
